I’ve never seen a way to block individual users here. Keep in mind that Yahoo! Groups are basically BBSes from the ‘90s, with a better interface and a steroid injection. 😉
I think at this point, we should be thankful these groups still exist. Now that Verizon owns Yahoo!, who knows what will happen.

When the emails and unedited replies began showing up with pages and pages of space for the messages I had to switch over to "Daily Digest" since my mobile devices (some of them monitored by my corporate device supplier (ouch!)) were inundated with useless lines of text about encryption and so on. Yahoo adds a framing so previous messages can be viewed with extra spaces to identify the age of the message. Since no one takes the time to edit these out when they reply the conversation become a huge mess of nonsensical text. Notice I deleted all of the previous text so a nice clear message is sent. There have even been topics about this here in the group.
For the most part Cliff and I do not interfere with the members. However we do watch what goes on. Both of us have very busy lives and I for one apologize if anything gets through. As members everyone does a really good job keeping things on track!!!
