This is a general knowledge question regarding Setups on PC3K8.


Switch to #83 Harp Ensmble.


Onm y PC3K8, on entry, the ARP SW is illuminated. Yet, if you edit the Setup, the OnEntry value is OFF for all 6 zones.



Can someone verify the ARP SW is illuminated on entry into the Setup on your machine as well?


In Setup mode, the ARP SW is unresponsive, yet in 456 diagnostics, functions normally.

Found the cause of this.



It seems many of the PC3K8 ROM Setups DO NOT have the ARP SW assigned to control the ARP On/Off function by default.


If you assign the ARP SW by editing the Setup it works fine.


How easy to confuse that lit LED on the ARP SW for an ARP On/Off control, when it is set to do nothing, remains lit, and then assume it may be broken...
